Jumu'ah is not an interruption in the week. It is the anchor of the week. It calls us away from distraction and reminds us who we are and where we are going.

The one who prepares for Friday prepares the heart: with ghusl, clean clothes, early arrival, attentive listening, and a sincere intention to change.
